Patient recall is a practice workflow for identifying patients who are due or overdue for defined follow-up and conducting appropriate outreach. Recall may apply to annual examinations, chronic-care follow-up, preventive services, laboratory monitoring, specialty follow-up, or other services the practice establishes.
